You’re already connected with a bunch of people that you don’t want to contact? There are two ways of excluding them from your audience.

Default: What happens If I send a connection request to someone I'm already connected with?
La Growth Machine can work with any type of connection degree. However, we will act differently when using Add Contact on LinkedIn :
if you already have a pending request, LGM will detect it and wait accordingly to the planned delay
If you're already connected with the lead on LinkedIn, we will automatically detect it as well, and move on to the next action planned after the "When Accept" path.
No worries then, by default, the logic will make it work. Though it could generate some mistakes depending on your copywriting, in two specific cases :
If your connection request includes a note, said note will ne be sent since you're already connected with the lead. If your message after the being accepted mentions your note such as "Following up on my connection request [...]" or "Thanks for accepting my invite [...]", though the note was not sent, this will create a copywriting problem
If your connection request does not include a note, but you're already connected with the lead, this can create a problem if your message starts with "Thanks for connecting [...]" - but you've already been connected for a while, potentially you already talked with them in the past
Such two mistakes can betray automation. To avoid these, you have two options :
Cleaning your lists before importing
Use the custom sequence feature to modify your sequence by creating a specific path with the "Is a contact" conditions
Option 1: Exclude people while doing your research on Linkedin :
On LinkedIn Basic and Sales Navigator, you can filter your lead's research with Relationship levels. You’ll just have to select 2nd and 3rd degrees.

Sales Navigator search :
Option 2: Exclude people within your sequence on LGM
You can use the custom sequence feature to modify your sequence by creating a specific path with the "Is a contact" conditions, thus :
Option 1: Create a specific message not mentioning the recent acceptance
Option 2: deciding not to automate anything on the lead but rather activate them manually since you might have a history together
However, the “Is a relation” block is part of the Custom Sequence feature, which is allowed from the Ultimate plan. It means that if you’re not part of this plan, you won’t have access to this feature. In that case, be careful with your copywriting!
