This brief guide here here to teach you :

  • How to import from LinkedIn Basic ?

  • How LaGrowthMachine will automatically enrich your file to find missing emails, LinkedIn profiles, phone numbers and Twitter accounts.

How does the magic happen? Read-on!

Access LinkedIn Using the Widget

To access your Linkedin from LGM, make sure your Linkedin account is connected to your identity and then go to Leads -> Import leads -> Import from Linkedin. Here a window will pop up from the Widget, you’ll have to select the account you want to connect to, like below :

Now you’re connected on your profile, let’s start searching for the perfect leads you want to contact 🕵️‍♂️

Research leads using filters

When we say lead we say person so click on People in order to get what you’re looking for!

Then you’ll need to use filters in order to create a segmented list. Keep in mind the more segmented your research, the more targeted and efficient approach you’ll have and the more relevant and personalized your copywriting will be !

At least 3 main filters to use :

1/ Locations

2/ Industries

3/ Job Titles

Once your research is done, click on Import Leads at the top right corner and select the audience/create a new audience you want to import them in!

Beware of the limits when importing with Linkedin Basic

⚠️ When you do a search with Linkedin Basic, it will show you 100 pages with 10 leads/page. And when you do the maths, 100 x 10 = 1000 leads in total. So you can’t import more than 1000 leads into LGM with this basic plan.

Does it mean you’ll never be able to import more than 1000 leads? Certainly not ;) you’ll need to split your research into smaller researches to stay below 1000 leads!

For instance, instead of looking for leads to contact in France, start with Paris, then import. Continue looking for leads in Lyon, then import, etc.

Do you have a big Linkedin network? You can also decide to contact only the leads that you’re not connected with: choose 2nd and 3rd degrees people :

Automatic enrichment to find professional emails, phone numbers and Twitter accounts

Now that you’ve imported leads, you’ll need their email, phones and Twitter contacts. Thankfully, LaGrowthMachine does it automatically for you :
