Overview
Already have a list of contacts in HubSpot and want to use it in La Growth Machine? You can import HubSpot lists directly into LGM and turn them into audiences in just a few clicks.
Before importing, make sure your HubSpot connection and field mapping are set up properly. This helps LGM place the right data in the right fields, sync enriched data back cleanly, and avoid creating a CRM mess later.
Key benefits

Lead and company data. Use HubSpot Lead and Company properties correctly

Importing a Hubspot list into LGM
Step 1. Connect HubSpot.
If you haven’t already, start by connecting your HubSpot account from your settings.
Open Settings
Go to CRM settings
Select HubSpot
Click Connect to HubSpot
Choose your HubSpot account
Accept the requested permissions
Once HubSpot is connected, you can import lists, map fields, sync activities, and keep your CRM updated from LGM
Important: HubSpot synchronization is not retroactive. LGM starts syncing new actions after the integration and campaign synchronization are enabled.

Step 2. Check your field mapping.
Before importing a HubSpot list, check your field mapping.
Field mapping tells LGM where each piece of data should go.
This helps you:
Store data correctly during the import
Sync enriched data back to the right HubSpot properties
Keep CRM fields clean across HubSpot and LGM
Avoid mismatched properties when using custom fields
You can find field mapping in Settings → CRM settings → HubSpot → Field mapping.
Important: Field mapping is a key step to avoid data issues.
Step 3. Map HubSpot Lead and Company properties.
HubSpot field mapping now supports two property groups:
Lead properties. Contact-level information
Company properties. Company-level information
Use Lead properties for person data, such as:
First name
Last name
Email
Job title
LinkedIn URL
LinkedIn Bio
Use Company properties for account data, such as:
Company name
Company website
Industry
Company size
Annual revenue
Tip: Map company-level information to Company properties whenever possible. It keeps your CRM cleaner and makes account-level reporting easier.
Step 4. Import your HubSpot list.
Once HubSpot is connected and your fields are mapped, you can import your list.
Go to Audiences
Click Import leads
Select Import from CRM
Choose HubSpot
Select the HubSpot list you want to import
Choose whether to skip leads already contacted in LGM
Select an existing audience or create a new one
Launch the import
That’s it. Your HubSpot contacts are now imported into LGM.
Note: Leads already contacted in LGM across all identities can be excluded during import.
Exclude leads during import.
Skip already contacted leads.
When importing a HubSpot list, you can enable Skip already contacted leads.
This prevents LGM from importing leads that were already contacted in previous campaigns.
Use this option when you want to:
Avoid duplicate outreach
Protect existing conversations
Keep audiences clean
Prevent several teammates from contacting the same lead
Skip leads already in your CRM.
You can also manage exclusions from campaign settings.
Open your campaign
Go to Settings
Enable Skip leads that already exist
Choose whether to block all CRM leads or only selected CRM lists
When the campaign starts, LGM checks your CRM. If the lead already exists in the selected CRM scope, the lead is excluded before any message is sent.
Tip: Use this to exclude customers, open deals, disqualified leads, or any list that should not receive outbound messages.
Track excluded leads.
You can track excluded leads in:
Action Details
Lead Overview
This helps you understand why a lead was skipped instead of wondering if LGM ate it. It did not. It just followed your rules.
Use Continuous Import with HubSpot lists.
What Continuous Import does.
Continuous Import lets LGM keep an audience updated automatically from a dynamic HubSpot list.
Instead of importing a list once, LGM checks for new matching contacts and adds them to your audience over time.
This is useful when your HubSpot list keeps changing, for example:
New inbound leads
New event registrants
New MQLs
New leads assigned to a specific owner
New contacts matching a lifecycle stage
New contacts entering a nurturing segment
Enable Continuous Import.
Start importing a HubSpot list
Select your audience
Toggle Import new leads every day
Confirm the import
LGM runs the initial import first. Then new leads entering the HubSpot list are added automatically.
Note: Continuous Import is available from the Pro plan.
What happens after Continuous Import is enabled.
Once enabled:
Initial import. LGM imports the leads already matching your HubSpot list
Daily update. LGM checks for new leads entering the list
No duplicates. Existing audience members are not re-imported
No wasted credits. Only non-pre-enriched leads are sent to enrichment
Pause anytime. You can stop Continuous Import from your audience list
Important: For CRM sources, LGM adds new leads every day. Sales Navigator-based sources can follow a different update frequency.
Use HubSpot Contact Owner after import.
Filter imported leads by owner.
If HubSpot is connected, you can filter leads by HubSpot Contact Owner in LGM.
This is useful after importing a HubSpot list because you can quickly see which leads belong to each sales rep.
To use the filter:
Open an Audience or the Leads page
Click Add filter
Open Lead Info
Select HubSpot Contact Owner
Choose one or several owners
Use this filter to:
Review ownership by sales rep
Clean assignments before launching campaigns
Check follow-up after import
Analyze campaign activity by owner
Note: The HubSpot Contact Owner filter only appears when HubSpot is connected.
What happens to existing HubSpot owners.
If an imported contact already has a HubSpot owner, LGM keeps that owner.
LGM does not overwrite existing HubSpot ownership.
If LGM later creates a new HubSpot contact from another flow, Contact Owner mapping can assign the owner based on the LGM identity used.
Important: LGM does not replace an existing HubSpot Contact Owner. This prevents ownership conflicts inside your CRM.
What information does LGM need to contact your leads?
La Growth Machine reaches out to your leads through LinkedIn, email, and Twitter. Some information is required to activate them properly.
Imports with LinkedIn profile URLs
LinkedIn URL: the ideal setup
Lets us fetch profile information
Enables enrichment with work emails and Twitter accounts
Imports with email addresses
If your leads already have enriched email addresses, great.
Note: LGM applies a data-primacy rule — if you import an email, we keep it, even if we find another one.
Tip: Use pre-enrichment before launching your campaign so your leads are fully ready 🚀
What if your lead has no LinkedIn profile, no email, and no Twitter?
No worries — we’ve planned for that 😉
