Overview
Here’s a clear breakdown of each action and condition you can use in your sequences, plus tips and examples to help you make the most of them.
Key benefits
Track lead conversions with flexible conditions.
Organize audiences dynamically without removing leads from their original audience.
Connect your sequences to external tools with webhook automation.
Control lead flow using delays, end steps, and safety measures.
Segment with precision using attribute-based rules.
Personalize touchpoints through manual tasks.
Goal Reached :
When you use the Goal Reached action, you mark your lead as converted. This condition helps you track your conversion statistics.
By default, a lead is only considered converted when they respond to an email.
But you can modify this setting by choosing Custom Exits or by adding the block wherever you think a conversion should occur in your campaign.
Add to Audience:
This action lets you add your lead to another audience. The lead stays in the current audience and also joins the new one you selected.
Tip: This is especially useful for long-running campaigns that nurture or enrich contacts over time. If a lead hasn’t replied, you can push them into another audience running a continuous campaign.
Example
Push all leads who have replied into Audience A, and all leads who haven’t replied into Audience B.
Audience B might be used in your Nurturing campaign, where leads receive content every two months.
Webhooks
Webhooks allow you to send information out of LGM at a specific point in your sequence.
To set it up:
Create a new Zap in Zapier (or any automation tool).
Create a webhook.
Connect it to LGM (Settings > Webhooks > Create new)
Add Webhook steps to your sequence.
When a lead reaches a webhook step, LGM automatically sends their info plus a custom status to Zapier.
You can then send this data to more than 1,000 apps. Popular use cases include:
Pushing the lead’s status to Salesforce, HubSpot, or any CRM.
Scheduling retargeting by sending personal emails to Facebook or LinkedIn Custom Audiences.
Tracking statistics in Google Sheets.
Sending a voice message or triggering a phone call.
End Sequence
Using End Sequence immediately stops the sequence for that lead.
Any scheduled actions will be canceled.
This is a great safety feature when you want to guarantee that nothing else happens with that contact.
Add Delay
With this action, you can add delays (in days) between two actions or conditions.
Delays help your workflow feel more natural and less robotic.
Default delays:
After an invitation acceptance: 30 minutes (just enough to feel human without reacting instantly).
Anywhere else in a sequence: 1 day.
Don’t hesitate to sprinkle delays throughout your sequences to improve realism!
Has Attribute
A Has Attribute block lets you verify whether a lead has a specific data point in their profile—such as an email, Twitter handle, company name, or any other attribute.
Using the sequence below, you can check whether a lead has a personal email or not.
Tip: You can also use this condition for Custom Attributes.
This helps you differentiate leads depending on what you’ve manually filled in.
For example, if you want bilingual messaging in the same campaign:
Put “FR” in Custom Attribute 1 for French leads.
Leave it empty for non-French leads.
Then, using Has Attribute > Custom Attribute 1, French leads go to the YES branch, while everyone else goes to NO.
Manual Tasks
A Manual Task is any action performed by hand—like a call, a personalized message, or a video meeting. It’s fully customized and not automated.
