Overview

Hubspot already becomes powerful the moment you enable La Growth Machine’s native integration. Your leads and activity logs sync automatically at the contact level but that’s just the beginning. With dynamic lists, you can turn LGM’s multichannel data into automated segmentation inside Hubspot. This lets you surface missed opportunities, track replies, segment by campaign, and create workflows that work for you.

Key benefits

  • Segment your Hubspot contacts using any LGM event: replies, clicks, connections, messages, and more.

  • Automate list updates using Active Lists that refresh in real time.

  • Identify hot opportunities such as leads who replied but weren’t qualified yet.

  • Leverage advanced filters combining LGM data, Hubspot lifecycle, campaigns, dates, and identities.

Understanding LGM’s native Hubspot integration

How data sync works

When the integration is enabled, La Growth Machine automatically creates or updates Hubspot contacts at the start of each campaign. Matching happens using:

  • Identified email

  • Firstname + Lastname + Company name

If no match exists, LGM creates a new contact.

What activity gets logged

Any action performed by LGM is automatically recorded on the contact timeline in Hubspot:

  • LinkedIn actions: connection requests, accepted requests, profile visits, direct messages, replies.

  • Email actions: messages sent, opens, clicks, and replies.

You’ll see the content of each LinkedIn DM and each email logged right inside Hubspot.

What dynamic lists are and how Hubspot uses them

Static vs active lists

When creating a new list in Hubspot, you can choose:

  • Static lists: A one-time snapshot. They do not update.

  • Active lists: A dynamic list that updates automatically whenever a contact matches (or stops matching) your criteria.

Active lists are where automation comes alive, perfect for real-time monitoring or sales handovers.

Building dynamic lists using LGM data

Hubspot lets you use all synchronized La Growth Machine activity to create highly targeted segments. Every action LGM performs, from LinkedIn visits to email clicks, becomes available as a filter inside the list builder.

What LGM data you can filter by

When creating a list, click Add filter, scroll to Integration filters, and select La Growth Machine.

You’ll see all available LGM categories:

Generic campaign events

  • Leads that started, paused, stopped, or converted in a campaign

Email data

  • Leads that received a specific email

  • Leads that clicked a specific email

  • Leads that replied to a specific email

LinkedIn data

  • Leads whose profile was visited

  • Leads that received or accepted a connection request

  • Leads that received or replied to a direct message

  • Leads that received or replied to a voice message

Sub-filters for precision

Every action can be refined using additional attributes:

  • Campaign name or URL

  • Date the action happened

  • Email subject

  • Identity full name (which LGM identity performed the action)

Mixing these options lets you build extremely granular segmentation — for example, “people who clicked an email sent by this identity in the last 7 days from this campaign.”

How to build a dynamic list using LGM filters

Step 1 — Create an active list

Go to Contacts > Lists, make a new list, and choose Active list so it updates automatically.

Step 2 — Select an LGM event

Click Add filter, choose La Growth Machine, then pick the event you want to segment on — e.g.:

  • Accepted connection request

  • Replied on LinkedIn

  • Clicked an email

  • Started a specific campaign

Step 3 — Refine using sub-filters

Narrow your list using:

  • Campaign

  • Dates

  • Message subjects

  • Identity performing the action

Step 4 — Combine multiple criteria

You can stack LGM filters to build advanced targeting logic. For example:

  • Leads that replied on LinkedIn

  • AND their reply occurred in the last 7 days

  • AND the outreach was sent by a specific salesperson

This is where the integration becomes extremely powerful, Hubspot’s segmentation engine + LGM’s multichannel data = automated, real-time lead insights.

Advanced utilization

Identifying missed LGM opportunities with dynamic lists

When campaigns generate a flood of replies, some opportunities inevitably get missed. Dynamic lists make them visible.

Using lifecycle stages

A typical automation flow using LGM could be:

  • Lead when automation begins

  • Opportunity when the lead replies

  • Manual changes afterward:

    • Sales qualified lead if positive

    • Other if not qualified

To spot opportunities that were never qualified:

  1. Create an active list.

  2. Filter contacts that converted in LGM.

  3. Add a condition where their lifecycle stage is still Opportunity.

This list represents all leads who replied but were never qualified.

Important: If your sales team is qualifying every opportunity, this list should always remain empty.

Using deal status

If you create deals whenever a lead enters a campaign, you can detect missed follow-ups by filtering:

  • Leads that replied / converted

  • AND whose deal is still in New Deal or not marked Lost

Any contact appearing here likely needs attention from sales.

Note: As with lifecycle stages, a healthy sales pipeline should keep this list empty.

FAQs

What Hubspot plan do I need to use dynamic lists with LGM data?

Dynamic (Active) lists require a Hubspot Marketing Hub Professional subscription or higher. LGM data sync works with any plan that supports contact properties and activity logging.

How often does LGM data update inside Hubspot?

Synchronization happens continuously. New events (replies, clicks, visits…) appear within seconds or minutes depending on volume.

Can I combine LGM data with non-LGM Hubspot filters?

Absolutely. You can mix campaign data, lifecycle stages, deal properties, form submissions, and any custom fields.

Do dynamic lists retroactively update when new LGM data arrives?

Yes. Active lists refresh automatically whenever a contact matches (or stops matching) the criteria.

Can I export my dynamic lists?

Yes, any Active or Static list can be exported from Hubspot as a CSV for reporting or enrichment.
