Overview

Is your campaign finished (or paused), and you’d like to try a new way to re-engage leads who were never contacted? That’s a smart move.

Before launching anything new, you first need to clearly identify which leads never received a message. With La Growth Machine, you can do this cleanly and methodically in just a few steps.

Key benefits

  • Clear identification of never-contacted leads

  • Clean audiences with no overlap or confusion

  • More effective re-engagement using a new strategy

Step 1: Create a “already contacted” audience

Start by going to the Leads tab and create a new audience.

You can name it something like:

Campaign name – Already contacted

This audience will be used to store all leads who received at least one message in your initial campaign.

Step 2: Identify leads who were contacted

Next, open the campaign from which you want to extract non-contacted leads.

Inside the campaign:

  • Use the SENT filter (bottom left)

  • This shows all leads who received at least one message

Select all these leads, click Add to audience, and add them to the Campaign name – Already contacted audience you just created.

Step 3: Separate contacted and non-contacted leads

Go back to the Leads tab.

Select:

  • The original audience

  • The Already contacted audience

Then enable Only leads in multiple audiences.

This view shows leads that appear in both audiences — in other words, leads that were contacted.

Select all of them and remove them from the original audience.

Result: an audience ready to be reactivated

And that’s it 🎉
Your original audience now contains only leads who were never contacted.

You can now:

  • Launch a new campaign

  • Test a different message

  • Switch channels (Email first, LinkedIn first, etc.)

Tip: You can repeat this process as many times as needed to keep your audiences clean and fully reusable.

FAQs

Why should I only follow up with leads who were never contacted?

Because they’ve never seen your message. You’re starting fresh, without repetition or confusion.

Does this method delete leads permanently?

No. Leads are only removed from the original audience, not deleted from your account.

Can I use this method with any campaign?

Yes. As long as the SENT filter is available, this process works.

Can I repeat this process multiple times?

Absolutely. You can create “already contacted” audiences as often as needed.

Is this the best way to clean an audience?

Yes. It’s the most reliable way to isolate truly untouched leads without guesswork.
