How to use the LGM inbox
Understanding how the inbox works
The inbox only shows conversations associated with leads who have been activated at least once through La Growth Machine.
If a lead has never been contacted via an LGM campaign, their email or LinkedIn exchanges won’t appear.
If a lead has participated in at least one campaign, all conversations — even those sent manually from your external tools — will show up.
Information available for each lead
Lead details
Lead timeline
Automatically sent emails, with stats
Automatically sent LinkedIn DMs
Received emails and LinkedIn DMs
Manually sent emails or DMs, from external messaging tools or the LGM inbox
Message synchronization
How and when messages are synced.
All outgoing messages — whether sent from LGM or another messaging app (email or LinkedIn) — are automatically pulled into your inbox.
Important: All syncing operations happen securely through our cloud.
New message notifications
Whenever a lead replies, a notification appears in your LGM app.
Red dots next to your identity shows unread conversations.
Note: Reading a message in LGM does not mark it as read in your email client or on LinkedIn.
You can also change the inbox filter to display more than just “leads who replied”.
Replying to your leads
Inside the LGM inbox, you can reply via:
Email
LinkedIn DM
Twitter replies are not available yet.
You can reply in the existing thread or create a brand-new email from the arrow next to the Reply button.
Important:
To send an email, the lead must have a valid email address.
To send a LinkedIn DM, your identity must be connected with the lead on LinkedIn.
Managing your team and inbox
All members of your organization access the same inbox. You can filter leads based on the identities used in campaigns to keep everything tidy.
Good to know
Reading: When one teammate reads a message, it is marked as read only in their inbox.
Replying: When someone replies, the answer is visible to the entire team.
Archiving: Archiving or using Remind me later affects the whole team.
Notifications: All teammates get notified when a lead replies.
Tip: You can choose which identity (or identities) should trigger notifications for you from the settings > My profile
Note: If you’re unsure about the difference between identities and teammates, check the related article.
