Overview
You can export data from LGM to another platform using Zapier and webhooks. This lets you notify Sales when a lead clicks an email, create cold-calling actions at the end of a sequence, or trigger a deal when a lead replies.
If you’re not a tech person and this sounds intimidating, don’t worry — it’s easier than it looks and only takes a few minutes. Let’s walk through it.
Key benefits
Simple setup using Zapier’s webhook trigger
Custom manual tasks for Gmail, HubSpot, Slack, or your CRM
How to add a webhook to your sequence
Place a webhook in your LGM campaign
If you want to export data from LGM to another platform, you can place a webhook in your campaign workflow
For example, let’s create a cold-calling task when a lead has not replied.
Steps
When a lead has no reply, select Webhook as the next step.
Select the webhook you want to use (you’ll see later how to create it).
Add a status to your webhook. This is extra information you can pass to Sales — for example:
“It’s time to call the lead!”
How to create the webhook in Zapier and connect it to LGM
Set up your Zapier webhook
First, go to Zapier. You’ll create a webhook using Catch Hook, then retrieve the URL that Zapier generates.
Once the webhook is created, add it to LGM in your Webhooks section :
Now your webhook is ready — you can send data wherever you need: your CRM, your email… everything is possible.
Create a manual task in Gmail
Let’s say you want to receive an email reminder when a lead doesn’t reply, so you can give them a quick call.
We’ll reuse the Zap you just created by adding a Gmail module.
Steps
Add a Send email module inside Zapier and connect your Gmail account:
2. Decide who should receive the email:
If the campaign's identity should be notified → select Identity email.
If the campaign was sent from the CEO’s profile but the SDR should call → write the SDR’s email.
3. Add a subject line for your reminder:
4. Add the email body :
You can include variables such as First name, Last name, phone number, or LinkedIn URL so the Sales rep has everything ready before calling.
5. Test your Zap to confirm that everything works :
It’s done!
Create a manual task in HubSpot
LGM’s native HubSpot integration pushes all campaign data automatically, but if you want a manual task, you’ll need a Zapier automation.
Steps
Reuse the same Zapier webhook with Catch Hook, or create a new one : Zapier will give you your webhook URL again.
Then, add it inside Webhooks in LGM :
In Zapier, add two modules, "Find Contact" and "Create Engagement":
Here's a quick tutorial to create a manual task in HubSpot using the webhook we already created :
And here you go, this is how to create a manual task in HubSpot.
Create a manual task in Slack
If you want to be notified in Slack when a manual task is created in an LGM campaign, you now have a simple option.
Thanks to our Slack integration, you no longer need Zapier or webhooks for this part.
Steps
Open LGM Settings.
Go to Integrations.
Select Slack and click Connect.
Approve permissions in Slack (your Slack admin must allow the connection).
Configure alerts and enable Manual task notifications:
You can even test the integration during the Free Trial.
Here's an article on our Slack Integration.
Important: This feature is available on the PRO and ULTIMATE plans.
