Overview

You’re about to launch your first campaign on La Growth Machine. Before clicking Launch, this checklist helps you avoid common mistakes and set up your campaign for success from the start.

Key benefits

  • Avoid common outbound mistakes before they impact performance

  • Improve acceptance and reply rates across LinkedIn and email

  • Ensure clean data and tracking from day one

  • Launch with confidence using proven outbound foundations

Connect your identity

Your identity is the foundation of every outbound campaign. If it’s not properly set up, everything else will suffer.

When prospects receive a message, they check things in a very specific order:

  • Your LinkedIn profile

  • Your company page

  • Your website

Each step is an opportunity to build trust… or lose it. A poorly optimized identity can drastically reduce acceptance and reply rates.

Connect and optimize your LinkedIn profile

Before launching, make sure your LinkedIn profile is clear, credible, and aligned with the people you’re targeting.

Tip: Prospects don’t read profiles—they scan them. Make your positioning obvious in the first few seconds.

Connect and set up your email domain properly

Email deliverability is one of the most underestimated performance drivers in outbound.

A misconfigured domain can send up to 75% of your emails to spam, even with great copy.

In about 20 minutes, you can configure:

  • SPF

  • DKIM

  • DMARC

This dramatically improves inbox placement and protects your domain reputation.

Important: Never launch an email campaign without proper domain authentication.

Define your working hours and limits

By default, actions run:

  • Between 8:30am and 6:30pm (Paris time)

  • On weekdays only

If you’re targeting another geography or want more control, adjust this in your identity settings.

This is also where you define daily action limits.

Check your CRM connection

Your CRM is the heart of your sales activity. Everything that happens in outbound should be logged there — not hidden in a separate tool.

By connecting HubSpot or Pipedrive using La Growth Machine’s native synchronization:

  • Your sales team doesn’t need to open LGM to understand what’s happening

  • All outbound activity is visible in one place

  • Performance analysis goes far beyond replies

Once connected, you can track:

  • Qualified replies

  • Meetings booked

  • Deals created

  • Revenue generated by outbound campaigns

Important: If it’s not in your CRM, it didn’t happen. This step is essential to make outbound a real growth lever — not just a lead generation experiment.

Enrich your leads properly

Enrichment plays a massive role in campaign performance.

The more reliable contact data you have:

  • The more channels you can activate

  • The more touchpoints you can test

  • The more opportunities you create

La Growth Machine uses Waterfall Enrichment to maximize discovery rates while controlling risk.

Instead of relying on a single provider, enrichment happens step by step, prioritizing the most reliable sources first. This helps balance volume and quality while keeping bounce rates under control.

Before launching, make sure you understand:

  • How enrichment works

  • Which data is being activated in your campaigns

Launch your campaign

Now comes the fun part: launching your first campaign.

One of the most common questions at this stage is where to start:

  • LinkedIn

  • Email

The answer depends on:

  • Your target

  • Your message

  • Your existing level of trust with the audience

There’s no universal rule, but there are clear principles.

Your sequence structure matters just as much as your copy. Each step should feel:

  • Logical

  • Progressive

  • Respectful

Whether it’s a LinkedIn visit, a connection request, an email, or a follow-up, everything should flow naturally.

Tip: If your sequence feels aggressive to you, it will feel even worse to your prospects.

FAQs

Why is identity setup so important before launching a campaign?

Your identity is the first thing prospects check. A weak LinkedIn profile or misconfigured email domain can kill trust before your message is even read.

Can I launch a campaign without connecting my CRM?

You can, but you’ll lose visibility on real performance. CRM connection is essential to track qualified replies, meetings, and revenue.

What happens if my email domain isn’t configured correctly?

Your emails may land in spam, drastically reducing deliverability and potentially damaging your domain reputation.

Do I have to start with LinkedIn instead of email?

No. The best starting channel depends on your target, message, and trust level. The key is building a coherent, respectful sequence
