How do I manage LGM Call tasks from HubSpot?

Complete Call tasks in HubSpot and let LGM continue your sequence based on the call outcome.

Written by Damien Nogaret

Overview

La Growth Machine's HubSpot integration lets you handle Call tasks directly from HubSpot, without switching back to LGM to close the task or choose the next step. Before you mark a Call task as Done, you tell LGM what to do next using a dedicated HubSpot contact property: LGM CALL OUTCOME.

Key benefits

  • Handle Call tasks from HubSpot without blocking your LGM sequence

  • Keep sequences moving with the right next step after every call

  • Less manual back-and-forth between HubSpot and LGM

  • More consistent data between your CRM and your campaigns

Note: Call task sync requires HubSpot to be connected to LGM first. If that is not done yet, see How to connect HubSpot and what to expect.

Set up Call task sync

  1. Select the Call Tasks tab

  2. Enable When a call task is completed

Enabling this automatically creates the LGM CALL OUTCOME property on your HubSpot contacts.

Tip: in your contact record view, add LGM CALL OUTCOME to the displayed properties so it is easy to find.

How it works

  1. LGM creates the Call task in HubSpot and sets LGM CALL OUTCOME to empty

  2. The teammate makes the call from their usual HubSpot workflow

  3. The teammate fills in the property with one of the available values

  4. A webhook is sent to LGM

  5. LGM applies the next step based on the value selected

Available call outcome values

Value

Behavior in LGM

Continue sequence

LGM marks the task as Done and continues the sequence

Replied

LGM marks the lead as Replied and adapts the sequence

Won

LGM marks the lead as Won

Lost

LGM marks the lead as Lost

Empty value

HubSpot reminds you to complete the property before the task can be closed

What happens if the property is not filled in?

If you mark a Call task as Done without filling in the required property, a message stays visible in HubSpot. The task title then shows that information is missing and that the property must be completed.

Best practices

Always fill in the call outcome before marking the task as Done, so LGM can apply the right next step in the sequence.

Important: without an outcome, LGM cannot know whether the sequence should continue or whether the lead should be marked as Replied, Won, or Lost. The task stays pending until you set it.

FAQs

Why do I need to fill in the property before marking the task as Done?

LGM needs to know what happens next: continue, stop, or mark the lead as Replied, Won, or Lost.

What happens if I forget to fill it in?

The LGM sequence stays pending. Marking the task as Done is not enough. Set LGM CALL OUTCOME so LGM knows the next step.
