Overview

La Growth Machine’s HubSpot integration helps you keep your CRM clean, usable and relevant.

You can control when LGM creates a HubSpot contact and define when a lead should be skipped in your campaigns.

Key benefits

  • Cleaner CRM: Create HubSpot contacts only when leads reach the right stage in LGM

  • Better pipeline control: Skip leads who already have a deal in HubSpot

  • Smarter campaign logic: Skip leads based on their HubSpot lifecycle stage

Prerequisites

Before using these HubSpot controls, make sure that:

  • HubSpot connection: HubSpot is connected to LGM

  • CRM sync: CRM synchronization is enabled in your campaign

  • Permissions: You have the right permissions to configure the CRM integration

  • Plan: You are on the Ultimate plan

Create a HubSpot contact based on a trigger

By default, LGM creates a HubSpot contact when the campaign starts.

You can now choose another moment for contact creation.

Available triggers

You can create the HubSpot contact when the lead reaches one of these statuses:

  • Contacted

  • Replied

  • Won tags

  • Custom tags created by you

Example:

You select the trigger tag Replied.

  1. The lead enters your LGM campaign

  2. LGM does not create the contact in HubSpot yet

  3. The lead replies

  4. LGM creates the HubSpot contact

  5. Previous actions linked to the lead are synced back to HubSpot

Skip a lead if they already have a HubSpot deal

You can enable a rule that automatically skips a lead if a deal already exists in HubSpot.

Use this to avoid prospecting someone who is already active in your sales pipeline.

Important: This rule is not retroactive.

If you enable it on a campaign that is already running, leads that are already active will not be automatically checked or stopped.

Skip a lead based on their HubSpot lifecycle stage

You can also define a skip rule based on the HubSpot lifecycle stage.

Examples

You can skip leads whose lifecycle stage is for example:

  • Customer

  • Opportunity

  • Unqualified

If the lead matches the lifecycle stage you selected, LGM skips them in the campaign.
