Overview
By default, when you read a conversation in the LGM Inbox, the conversation is marked as read inside LGM only. The status is not updated on LinkedIn.
If you prefer stronger synchronization between LGM and LinkedIn, with this option enabled, when a conversation is marked as read or unread in LGM, the same status is automatically applied on LinkedIn.
This helps keep both inboxes aligned and avoids having to manually update conversation statuses on LinkedIn after processing them in LGM.

How to enable the synchronization option
Step 1 — Go to your LinkedIn identity settings
Open the Identity settings for the LinkedIn account you want to configure.
Step 2 — Enable the synchronization option
Find the setting : “Mark your conversations in LinkedIn as read when opened in LGM.” Activate the toggle.
Once enabled, when a conversation changes status in LGM:
If the conversation becomes read in LGM, it will be marked as read on LinkedIn
If the conversation becomes unread in LGM, it will also be marked as unread on LinkedIn
Important: This setting only applies to the LinkedIn identity where it is enabled. Team access impact : A teammate opening a conversation in LGM may trigger the read status update on LinkedIn
