Overview
A teammate left the company, or you’ve completed a client mission?
Either way, you might be paying for an identity you no longer need. Changing an identity doesn’t require deletion—you can simply replace the connected accounts.
This article explains how to do it step by step.
How to use LGM to change your identity
How to change a LinkedIn account
Follow these steps to switch a LinkedIn account for your identity:
Pause campaigns linked to the identity you want to change
Disconnect the old LinkedIn account from the identity
Connect the new LinkedIn account
LGM automatically updates the identity’s info (full name, profile picture, etc.) once the account is connected
Important: Always pause campaigns before switching LinkedIn accounts. If campaigns are active, LGM may try to send messages from the old account to leads, even though your new identity is connected.
How to change an email address
If a teammate leaves or your emails keep ending up in spam, follow these steps to change your email:
Go to Email settings in your identity
Disconnect the old email
Connect the new email
Note: If this email is used in multiple campaigns, you’ll need to choose between:
Stopping leads contacted by the old email
Allowing LGM to continue sending emails to these leads with the new address
Important: If your previous emails were sent in the same thread, a new thread will start with the new email.
