You want to export data from LGM to another platform. What for?

It could be to notify your Sales when a lead clicks on your email, to create cold calling actions at the end of a sequence, or to create a deal when a lead replies.

To export data from LGM, you’ll need to use Zapier and webhooks.

You’re not a tech person and feel a bit lost? No worries, it’s very easy and takes 10 minutes. Let’s dive in!

A bit more about Zapier: it’s a platform that helps you connect two platforms that are not natively integrated together: LGM and Slack for instance.

You’ll use webhooks to export data from LGM to Zapier. And then Zapier to the platform you have decided.

Add a webhook to your sequence

Whatever the platform you want to notify your Sales on, you’ll always start on Zapier.

Whenever you want to export data from LGM to another platform, you’ll place webhooks into your sequence. Here let’s take the cold calling task at the end of the sequence when the lead has not replied as an example.

Step1: When no reply, select webhook as the next step!

Step 2: Select the webhook you want to use (you’ll see later in this article where and how to create the webhook).

Step 3: Add a status to your webhook. Basically, it’s information you can pass on to your Sales!

How to create the webhook in Zapier?

First go to Zapier!

Then select the app you want to connect which is webhooks by Zapier and the trigger which is catch hook.

Now let’s make a zap!

Copy the URL and paste it into LGM -> settings -> webhooks -> create webhook.

Give your webhook a name and go back to Zapier.

And test your trigger!

Now your webook is set up, you can send your data wherever you want to be notified : your CRM, your emails, on Slack. Everything is possible!

Create a manual task in Gmail

Let’s say that you want to receive an email as a reminder when a lead does not reply so you can give him a call ☎️ !

Step 1: choose the app & the action : Gmail and send email and then connect your account.

Step 2: Connect your Gmail account.

Step 3: decide to whom you want to send the email to!

  • Is it the identity that did the outreach ? Here select identity email.

  • The sequence was sent with the CEO’s profile but SDR will call? Add the SDR’s email address then.

Step 4: give your email a subject!

Step 4: Say something to the recipient.

You can add variables to give more information about the lead : First Name, Last Name, phone number if enriched and maybe a Linkedin URL so the Sales can have a quick look at the lead’s profile before calling.

Step 5 : test and see for yourself !

It’s done !

Create a manual task in Slack

You could want to receive a notification on Slack at the end of your sequence if the lead has not replied.

Step 1: Select Slack and the action you want to do :

  • Send a message to a channel

  • Send a direct message to a person

Step 2: Let’s say you want to send a notification on a channel as soon as your lead arrives at the end of the sequence without replying. Select the channel you want to notify.

Step 3: Now write the text you want to send. You can use LGM variables :

Step 4 : then test the action and see for yourself !

Step 1: What's your trigger ?

Here your trigger will be a Webhook

You'll use "Catch Hook" as your main trigger. Then, Zapier is going to give you the webhook URL.

You will need to add it in LGM - please note that the webhook is accessible from the ultimate plan - pro plan if it's a custom exit setting

Step 2 : Create Engagement in Hubspot

Choose "Create engagement for a contact" in the list.

You're going to be able to choose several factors such as the type of engagement, the task description and the due date

Don't forget to link the email of the lead and the good id to make sure it will be found !
