Overview

If your CRM is not natively integrated with La Growth Machine, you can use Zapier to sync your data automatically.

This article explains how to connect La Growth Machine to external CRMs such as Attio or Zoho CRM, using Zapier to create or update leads when they are activated in your La Growth Machine campaigns.

Key benefits

  • CRM flexibility – Use La Growth Machine with non-native CRMs

  • Automated sync – No manual exports or imports

  • Event-based logic – Trigger CRM actions based on real outreach activity

  • Scalable setup – Build simple or advanced workflows as needed

How the Zapier connection works

Zapier acts as a bridge between La Growth Machine and your CRM.

The general logic is:

  1. An event happens in La Growth Machine

  2. Zapier detects the event

  3. An action is executed in your CRM (Attio or Zoho)

You build one Zap per CRM, depending on the tool you use.

Step 1: Get the prerequisites

Get your external API key

  1. Open La Growth Machine

  2. Go to All settings

  3. Copy your external API key:

Step 2A: Send data to Attio

Follow this section if you use Attio. Here’s the tutorial to create the Zap:

Important: For the name value, map the last name first, then , followed by the first name.

Your Attio sync is now active.

Pro tip: Prefer Create or update record over Create record to avoid duplicates. You can also map additional fields if needed.

Step 2B: Send data to Zoho CRM

Follow this section if you use Zoho CRM. Here’s the tutorial used to create the Zap:

Tip: Make sure mapped fields align with any existing Zoho properties. You can also map additional fields if needed.

Your Zoho CRM sync is now active.

Pro tip: Prefer Create or update module entry over Create module entry to keep your CRM clean.

Go further with Zapier, Attio, and Zoho

Once your first Zap is working, you can build more advanced automations using additional triggers.

Common examples:

  • Create tasks in your CRM when a lead replies

  • Update lead status when outreach starts or engagement is detected

  • Push campaign context (campaign name, channel) into CRM fields or notes

  • Trigger notifications when high-intent events occur

These setups use the same logic, just with different triggers and actions.

Pro tip: Keep Zaps small and focused. One Zap = one clear purpose.
