Overview

You might sometimes notice that a message or invitation in your LinkedIn conversation seems to have been sent outside the working hours you set in LaGrowthMachine.

No worries — this isn’t a bug.

In most cases (99%), it’s actually an invitation note, and LinkedIn displays the sending time in a confusing way.

What you need to know

  • The displayed time reflects when the invitation was accepted, not when it was sent.
For example, if you send an invitation on Monday at 10 a.m., but your lead accepts it on Saturday at 11 p.m., LinkedIn will display 11 p.m. as the sending time.

  • Previously sent invitations remain active.
If you stop a campaign or deactivate an identity, invitations already sent aren’t canceled. When a lead accepts one later, the invitation note only appears at that time.

  • LinkedIn only shows the invitation note once the request is accepted.
This is just how LinkedIn works — the note stays hidden until the lead accepts the connection request.

In short

This behavior might look confusing (we get it!), but it’s completely due to how LinkedIn works, not an issue on LaGrowthMachine’s side.

Tip: Clean up pending invitations

You can easily remove unaccepted invitations directly from your LinkedIn account: manage my sent invitations

This helps keep your account organized and makes it easier to track your outreach.
