Overview
“Withdraw pending invitations” is a LinkedIn identity setting that automatically withdraws LinkedIn connection requests sent that are still pending after a set delay.
The goal is to avoid a backlog of pending invites.
To protect your account’s trust reputation with LinkedIn
To make it possible to re-invite certain prospects later
Note: Auto-withdraw is now enabled by default, with a 4-week delay, on every new LinkedIn identity and on existing identities covered by an eligible plan. You can change the delay or turn it off at any time.
Key benefits
Save time: no more manually removing hundreds of pending invites
Protect your LinkedIn identity: reduce the pile-up of “pending” invites (often perceived as negative for SSI and overall account health)
What “Withdraw pending invitations” does?
It’s a setting on your LinkedIn identity that automatically withdraws connection requests sent when they’ve been pending longer than the delay set on the identity.
Why it’s useful
It helps you avoid the “pending invites backlog” effect that builds up over time.
Reputation. Keeps your account looking more trustworthy to LinkedIn
Re-invites. Lets you withdraw and re-invite prospects later if needed
How “Withdraw pending invitations” works?
The option is on by default with a 4-week delay, so there is nothing to set up. To adjust it, open the Settings of your LinkedIn identity:
Change the delay in weeks. Example. 4, 6, 8 weeks
Or turn the option off if you prefer to keep your pending invites
Every day, La Growth Machine withdraws invites that are:
Still pending
Older than X weeks
The auto-withdraw feature removes invitations sent as part of campaigns as well as those sent manually.
Important: Account safety is our priority. We run up to 100 withdrawals per day, per identity. Not more.
Note: You can track all withdrawal actions directly in your campaign logs. Each time LGM automatically withdraws a pending invitation, a log entry is recorded.
Which plans include auto-withdraw?
Auto-withdraw runs only if your identity has the LinkedIn Advanced Settings permission. La Growth Machine checks that permission every single time the daily withdrawal runs.
Included by default on the Pro, Ultimate and Business plans
Granted on request on the Basic and Trial plans, by our support team
Important: If you cancel or downgrade to a plan without the LinkedIn Advanced Settings permission, auto-withdraw stops on its own from the next day. No further invite is withdrawn.
FAQs
Do I need to enable it myself?
No. Auto-withdraw is enabled by default, with a 4-week delay, on every new LinkedIn identity, and it has been switched on for existing identities on eligible plans. You can still change the delay or turn it off in your identity Settings.
How often does the withdrawal run?
It runs every day.
What if I have more than 100 invites to withdraw?
La Growth Machine withdraws up to 100 invites per day. The rest will be processed on the following days.
How can I see which invites were withdrawn?
In the lead timeline, you’ll see the log “Connection request withdrawn” (if the lead is in an active campaign).
Can I use this in trial?
Not by default. Auto-withdraw needs the LinkedIn Advanced Settings permission, included in the PRO, ULTIMATE and BUSINESS plans. On Basic and Trial, contact our support team to have it granted.
What happens if I downgrade or cancel my plan?
Auto-withdraw stops by itself from the next day. Invitations already withdrawn are not restored.
